Overseas Update: Business as Usual at Premiership
International - Americans Overseas

It was, to a certain extent, business as usual for Americans overseas in the Aviva Premiership in England.
Chris Wyles started at center for Saracens and was a big part of their 49-10 thrashing of Leicester. Blaine Scully did not play for Leicester and we are still waiting for the first appearance this season of Titi Lamositele and Hayden Smith in a Sarries jersey.

Still, Saracens are flying high, leading the Premiership with a 9-1 record.
Northampton beat Wasps 17-15 with Samu Manoa starting at lock. Andrew Suniula made the Wasps squad but was not used off the bench.

The Saints are three points behind Saracens in 2nd place with a record of 8-1-1. Wasps drop to 4-6 (8th) and Leicester slips to 5-4-1 and 6th.

With the recent signing of Cam Dolan at Northampton, there are now seven USA players on Premiership rosters – Wyles, Smith and Lamositele at Saracens, Manoa and Dolan at Northampton, Suniula at Wasps, and Scully at Leicester. Only three, Wyles, Manoa, and Scully, could be called regular starters.

There are rumors that more teams are looking at USA players, as well.
